Schwarzenegger's "girlie-men" comment:
"If they don't have the guts to come up here in front of you and say, 'I don't want to represent you, I want to represent those special interests, the unions, the trial lawyers ... if they don't have the guts, I call them girlie men,"
i keep hearing that this guy is doing a great job. a cowrker told me the money he is borrowing is a "bet on the future of california." But how can any politician be allowed to call his opponents girlie men?

it's less bothersome than cheney using the "f" word on the senate floor -- doesn't bother me.
"be allowed" ???
How about because this is America?
What do you mean "be allowed" ???
Just because he's a Republican that you don't like running your state, doesn't mean you should toss aside other values you espouse. Y'know, freedom of speech?
Sure, it was unprofessional and not P.C., but maybe politicians pretending to represent us need to have someone point out that they aren't doing their job.
Give me the British parliament any day!
by be allowed i mean he should be censored. i mean we should have a law banning people from using the phrase girlie-men- especially men. women can call people girlie men if they want. but women shouldn't be able to use the adjective "dikey."
no seriously, your right- bad wording on my part. what i really mean is that it's hard for me to believe he is doing a good job when he speaks like a 4th grade child- and not a nice one. what i really mean is im not following the work he's doing but i hear many good things and it's hard for me to reconcile that with this kind of pablum.
i could caare less if its PC. It's just moronic.
I thought it was funny. Dumb... but funny.
