I don't care if your italian, french, jewish, Chinese, WASP, Mexican, it makes no difference, in your culture's heavy self-celebratory NPR style BS you will make a comment about how important food is to your culture or how much people in your cultural group like to eat. Provincial mofoes, it's food, do you really think it is just your group's deal? It is the same with dignity, taste, love, god, and other perinnials.
